LTA Inspire for Women programme launches in Wales

• 5 minute read

Tennis Wales launches the LTA Inspire for Women programme for 2026/27, welcoming applications from Women across Wales.

This transformative programme is designed to empower women across tennis and padel in Wales to explore their potential, grow in confidence, and step into influential leadership roles. Whether within clubs, counties, member organisations, or LTA governance structures, the Inspire Programme is about unlocking opportunity and shaping the future of our sport with more female voice at the heart of decision making.

Over 12 months, participants will embark on a dynamic and supportive development journey. Through a blend of face-to-face workshops, interactive virtual learning, and Q&A sessions with inspiring guest speakers, each participant will gain insights tailored to their personal goals.

At its core, the programme focuses on four powerful areas of development:

  •  Presentation Skills - finding your voice and telling your story with confidence
  • Leadership - inspiring others and leading with purpose
  • Communication - building strong, effective relationships
  • Collaboration - working together to create lasting impact

We are looking to support 12–14 passionate individuals from across Wales. Whether you’re already contributing as a volunteer, working within an organisation, serving on a committee, or simply ready to take your next step into leadership, this programme is for you.

No matter your setting; club, park, leisure centre, or education, if you’re driven to make a difference in tennis or padel, the Inspire Programme offers a unique opportunity to grow.
