Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of Wales Become LTA SERVES National Partners
• 4 minute read
Tennis Wales is proud to announce a new national partnership with Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of Wales (BGC Wales) to help open up tennis and padel to more children and young people through the LTA SERVES programme.
This collaboration marks another step forward in delivering our “tennis opened up” ambition, ensuring that every young person in Wales has the opportunity to pick up a racket and enjoy the benefits of sport within their community.
BGC Wales is a national organisation with a long‑standing record of supporting young people through a network of trusted community clubs. Their strong reach into diverse communities, combined with a youth‑first approach, makes them an ideal partner to help bring tennis and padel to wider audiences of young players.
The partnership will be delivered through LTA SERVES, the LTA’s flagship programme focused on opening up tennis to underserved communities. Together, Tennis Wales and BGC Wales will provide equipment and support to deliver high‑quality sessions in locations already used by young people.
Stuart Baker, EDI Lead at Tennis Wales, said:
“Together, Tennis Wales and Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of Wales will work to shape a more inclusive future for tennis and padel in Wales, ensuring every young person has the opportunity to get involved in the sport”.
We look forward to working with BGC Wales and their member clubs to make a lasting impact in communities across all of Wales.
