Whalley Range is a fantastically warm community club looking for enthusiastic coaches to join the team on a part time basis - full time basis.

We have squad hours throughout the week ranging in all ages and abilities that need appropriate coaches. The position currently only offers 3-5 squad hours (this may grow), however there is a large list of people on a waiting list looking for private lessons which the applicant would have access to. This gives freedom to the coach to build a timetable that suits them in and around the squad hours.

The flexibility of this role means it is perfect for somebody trying to strike a good work/life balance.

If the applicant would like to do private lessons, they however must be sufficiently experienced. The role is still open, however to coaches just looking for squad hours.

Whalley Range is a very popular/friendly community club in the South of Manchester.

It has 3 floodlit hard courts due to be resurfaced in spring of 2027.

It has a cricket club attached with a bar and summer times are especially social at the club.

The people create an amazing atmosphere and it is a wonderful place to spend your free time as well as work!

he applicant must have a real passion for what they are doing and wanting to help people.

This is shown through amazing communication with players, parents, club members and committee members.

Creating a warm atmosphere and building relationships is just as important as the coaching, as Whalley Range is firstly and most importantly a community club.

This will be considered in the interview process with the same regard as coaching experience!
