Padel Nova is looking for an ambitious, commercially driven General Manager to lead our growing sports and leisure business in Swindon.

This is much more than a venue management role. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the business, drive revenue and growth, build strong relationships across the local community and corporate market, and ensure Padel Nova delivers an outstanding experience every day.

THE ROLE
Your primary responsibility will be the commercial performance and growth of Padel Nova, alongside overseeing the successful day-to-day running of the venue.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Driving revenue, memberships and court utilisation
• Developing corporate memberships, events and partnerships
• Creating initiatives to increase off-peak and weekend participation
• Building relationships with local businesses, organisations, schools and the
wider community
• Growing sponsorship and commercial opportunities
• Developing events, leagues, tournaments and social activities
• Managing and motivating the Padel Nova team
• Overseeing customer experience and maintaining high standards throughout the venue
• Managing budgets, costs and overall financial performance
• Working closely with the directors on the continued growth and development of Padel Nova

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We want a commercially minded, energetic and proactive leader who treats the business as if it were their own.
You should be confident developing new business, building relationships and turning ideas into revenue, while also being comfortable managing people and the day-to-day operation of a busy leisure venue.
Experience within padel, sport, fitness, leisure, hospitality or a membership-based business would be advantageous. An understanding and enthusiasm for padel would be a major plus.

Padel Nova is a modern, community-driven padel venue providing a premium playing experience in Swindon. With 3 top-quality courts, coaching programmes, social events and a vibrant clubhouse atmosphere, we’re have a club where players of all levels can play, improve and connect. We are LTA approved and host a number of LTA competitions as well as many socials and coaching. We are currently in the process of adding another 2 double and 1 singles court taking us to 6 courts in total
