The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Freelance / Self-Employed Padel Coach to help develop and deliver coaching activities at Padel Chippenham.

This is an exciting opportunity for a coach who wants to establish or grow their own coaching business within a modern padel facility.

The successful candidate will have the flexibility to develop their own client base while working alongside the club to introduce new players to padel, improve player standards and support the growth of the local padel community.

We are open to discussing different coaching arrangements depending on experience, availability and the proposed coaching programme.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging individual and group coaching sessions for beginners, intermediate and advanced players.

Organise introductory padel lessons, beginner courses and coaching clinics.

Develop structured coaching programmes to encourage player progression and retention.

Support junior coaching activities and help introduce younger players to the sport.

Assist with club events, social sessions, tournaments and corporate coaching opportunities where mutually agreed.

Build positive relationships with players and encourage participation in regular coaching.

Promote coaching sessions and develop a loyal client base.

Maintain high standards of professionalism, safety and customer experience.

Work collaboratively with the club management team to identify opportunities to grow coaching participation.

Padel Chippenham is a newly opened indoor padel facility located in the heart of Chippenham at Emery Gate Shopping Centre.

Our venue features four high-quality doubles padel courts, providing a welcoming environment for players of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to experienced players.

We are passionate about growing padel in the local community and creating a vibrant, inclusive club where players can improve their skills, meet new people and enjoy the sport.

This is a self-employed opportunity rather than a salaried employment position.

The successful coach will operate under an agreed commercial arrangement with Padel Chippenham, with flexibility around coaching hours, session pricing, court usage and programme delivery.

Specific terms, including court hire, coaching income and booking arrangements, will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.
