The LTA Padel Referee Pre-Course Learning has been designed to introduce the essential knowledge required before attending the face-to-face course, ensuring all learners arrive with a shared understanding of the fundamentals.
On completion of the pre-course learning, you will:
- Understand the basic rules of padel and how they are applied in match situations.
- Gain insight into the role and responsibilities of a padel referee.
- Recognise key principles of competition structure, conduct, and fair play.
- Develop the confidence to engage fully with the practical elements of the course.
“Completing the pre-course meant I arrived ready to focus on how to apply the rules, rather than learning them from scratch.”
This pre-course learning is mandatory and must be completed before booking onto the padel referee qualification. It takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
