Bakewell Recreation Ground is also known as Rutland Recreation Ground. It provides fun and enjoyment for people of all ages. It is set in 5.25 hectares of land, and has great outdoor sporting facilities. Facilities include: Children's play area & splash pad (open May to Sept), a multi-use games area (2 tennis courts - nets are up Summer only - Easter to October Half term), Toilets (April to October), 2 Football pitches, 2 Croquet lawns, a cricket pitch, and a Pavilion.
