The 2025 season is slowly drawing to an end but there's still one more WTA 1000 tournament left to come - the Wuhan Open.

When is the Wuhan Open?
This year’s main draw singles action will begin on Monday 6 October and will run through to Sunday 12 October.
Qualifying will take place between Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 October.
Where is the Wuhan Open taking place?
The 2025 Wuhan Open will once again return to the Optics Valley International Tennis Center.
The tennis center features a central stadium court that can hold up to around 15,000 spectators, along with several smaller courts used for earlier rounds and qualifying stages. The Centre has played host to the Wuhan Open since its inauguration in 2014.

Which British players are competing at the Wuhan Open 2025?
Emma Raducanu is the only British player already confirmed for the WTA 1000 event in Wuhan, with more potentially joining her as Katie Boulter and Sonay Kartal prepare to compete in qualifying.
The British No.1 will arrive in Wuhan with a ranked world No.32 - her highest ranking since August 2022 - and is in impressive form following a standout couple of months on the WTA Tour.
Raducanu has been picking up momentum during the hard court swing - having reached the semi-finals at the Citi Open and third round at the US Open and National Bank Open.
The 22-year-old comes into a tournament off the back of another strong campaign at the China Open. Raducanu reached the third round at the WTA 1000 event and came within one point of beating world No.7 Jessica Pegula to reach the fourth round but couldn't get over the line.
Raducanu will be hoping the channel that form once again in Wuhan and as she prepares to wrap up her 2025 WTA 1000 campaign on a high.
