The draws have been announced for the BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells with British stars set to get underway in California from 4-15 March.
In the women’s singles, British No.1 Emma Raducanu has a bye into the second round, where she will face either Ella Seidel of Germany or a qualifier.
Looking ahead in the draw, if Raducanu were to win in the second round, she could face last year’s Wimbledon and US Open runner-up Amanda Anisimova.
25th seed Raducanu made the fourth round in Indian Wells back in 2023 and will be hoping to replicate the form that took her to the Transylvania Open final a few weeks ago.
Indian Wells 2026 draw
Women’s singles
- Emma Raducanu (GBR) (25) vs Bye
- Sonay Kartal (GBR) vs Qualifier
- Francesca Jones (GBR) vs Qualifier
Men’s singles
- Jack Draper (GBR) (14) vs Bye
- Cam Norrie (GBR) (27) vs Bye
- Jacob Fearnley (GBR) vs Damir Dzumhur (BSN)
Elsewhere in the draw, Sonay Kartal will play a qualifier in round one before a potential rematch against 20th seed Emma Navarro.
Kartal and Navarro featured in a blockbuster Billie Jean King Cup semi-final last year, with the American coming through in three sets.
Francesca Jones will also play a qualifier in the first round, with a win seeing her through to take on second seed Iga Swiatek.
Recent Ostrava Open champion Katie Boulter could still make the main draw. She’s in the second round qualifying against Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva.

Defending champion Jack Draper will have a bye in the first round before taking on either Fabian Marozsan or Roberto Bautista Agut.
If Draper gets through to the third round he could face 19th seed Francisco Cerundolo and then 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic in the fourth.
Draper claimed the biggest title of his career in Indian Wells last year – beating Taylor Fritz, Ben Shelton, Carlos Alcaraz and Holger Rune en route to the title. However, this is only his second ATP event since the US Open and the Brit will be hoping he can find some form in the desert.
27th seed Cam Norrie is straight into the second round as well. He is set to play either Italian Matteo Arnaldi or a qualifier in the second round, before a potential clash with sixth seed and recent Rotterdam champion Alex De Minaur in round three.
If Norrie makes it into the fourth round, he would likely play either Alexander Bublik or last week’s Chile Open champion Luciano Darderi.
Finally, Jacob Fearnley will play Damir Dzumhur in the first round before a potential clash with seventh seed Fritz.
