How to watch Cam Norrie vs Carlos Alcaraz in the Rio Open final

• 2 MINUTE READ

Cam Norrie’s season continues to go from strength-to-strength after the British No.1 made his third ATP final of the year at the Rio Open.

Norrie will take on US Open champion and former world No.1 Carlo Alcaraz for a second final in two weeks after another impressive campaign in Brazil’s capital.

The 27-year-old Brit currently has more wins than any other player on the ATP Tour this year with 17 victories inside two months.

The world No.13 came to Rio off the back of another final at the Argentina Open and picked up where he left off with straight sets wins over Juan Manuel Cerundolo and Thiago Monteiro.

For the first time in the week, Norrie had to come from a set down to knock out Bolovia’s Hugo Dellien, before a blockbuster 6-2, 3-6, 7-6(3) win over Spain’s Bernabe Zapata Miralles in the semi-finals.

He now moves on to face a tough opponent in Alcaraz, with the Spaniard currently holding a 4-1 lead in their head-to-head. In their last meeting, only a week ago, Alcaraz claimed a 6-3, 7-5 win.

The world No.2 is currently on an eight-match unbeaten run since returning from injury last week.

Looking to defend his title from 2022, Alcaraz boasts an impressive 8-2 record in ATP finals, but his only two previous losses have come on clay.
