Hannah Klugman has reached No.1 in the ITF World Tennis Tour Junior rankings as the young British star begins her transition to the professional game.
The 16-year-old has claimed the world No.1 spot off the back of an impressive 2025 season where she finished runner-up at Roland Garros, made the semi-finals at the US Open and quarter-final of Wimbledon.
In May, she became the first British player to reach the junior Roland Garros singles final for 49 years.
Klugman has enjoyed a fantastic junior tennis career, becoming the first British player to win the prestigious 18U Orange Bowl at the age of 14 back in 2023.
She is a six-time junior singles title winner, with her most recent trophy coming at the J300 Vrsar last year. She also finished fourth at the 2025 ITF World Tennis Tour Junior Finals.
The British star has also been one of the best junior doubles players in recent years. She finished runner-up in the 2023 Wimbledon girls’ doubles with fellow Brit Isabelle Lacy and also made the final at the 2025 Australian Open.
She’s also reached the doubles semi-final at the US Open and quarter-final at Roland Garros throughout her junior career.
Klugman – who is supported by the LTA Pro Scholarship Programme, presented by Lexus, the highest level of support offered to players aged 16-24 – is now taking her game on to the professional tours.
The Briton reached her first pro final at the Lexus British Pro Series Roehampton in August and has also had strong results in Shrewsbury, Glasgow, Aldershot and Manchester in recent years – all as part of the LTA Performance Competitions Calendar.
In July, Klugman also made her Wimbledon main draw debut up against former US Open runner-up Leylah Fernandez.
