Inspired by Wimbledon to pick up a racket and start playing tennis? You can try tennis for free at a Barclays Big Tennis Weekend – coming to your local park court on the 20-21 July.
Barclays Big Tennis Weekends are free open days at park courts, tennis clubs and other community tennis venues across Great Britain where you can play tennis and find out about different ways to get involved all year round. They happen all year round but this coming weekend, they are being hosted up and down the country for everyone to play tennis for free.
On the weekend of 20-21 July, your local park tennis courts will host fun days packed with coaching, games, competitions and other social events for all the family.
Whether you’ve never played before, you’re looking to come back to the sport or you just want to enjoy a hit with friends – there’s something for everyone.
Don’t worry if you don’t have any tennis equipment – everything will be provided for you on the day.
You’ll have the chance to meet the coaches, find out more about different programmes for adults and kids and meet new people from around your local community.
Park tennis venues will also be able to keep you updated on Barclays Free Park Tennis sessions and Barclays Local Tennis Leagues taking place at your local courts.
