Sessions and Scheduling

The official draw takes place on Monday 14 January, whereby the eight nations taking part in the tie in Bath will be split into two round robin groups of four, with the round robin matches played across Wednesday 6 – Friday 8 February, every nation having a match each day.

All nations will then progress through to play-offs on the Saturday to determine the final order of standings, one through to eight. The winners of each round robin group play each other, as do the 2nd placed nations and so on.

Each of the eight nations will play a match every day. In order to accommodate the four daily matches across two courts, there will be two ticketed sessions scheduled for each day of the event. Four nations will compete during the morning session with the other four nations competing in the afternoon session.  Each match comprises two singles and one doubles in the following order:

  • Number 2 ranked player vs Number 2 ranked player
  • Number 1 ranked player vs Number 1 ranked player
  • Doubles Match

Session 1 (morning session) will start at 10am and Session 2 (afternoon session) will start not before 4.30pm.

Great Britain will be scheduled on Centre Court for all matches. During the round robin stage, Wednesday – Friday, Great Britain will be scheduled in Session 2.

The allocation of sessions on the Saturday is dependent on the results of the round robin stage. The Promotional match (winner of each round robin group) and the Relegation match (4th place nation of each round robin group) will be scheduled in Session 2 on the Saturday.

Doors will open 1 hour before Session 1 and a maximum of 1 hour prior to Session 2 (subject to the end time of session 1).

A Centre Court ticket does not automatically provide access to Court 1. To guarantee viewing on Court 1 you must be in possession of a valid Court 1 ticket.
