Roland Garros 2026: Emma Raducanu & Cam Norrie lead six British players with main draw entry
• 2 minute read
Six British players have been given direct entry into the 2026 Roland Garros – including British No.1s Emma Raducanu and Cam Norrie.
Roland Garros is set to start from 18 May – 7 June as the best players in the world get set to compete for the second Grand Slam of the year.
Raducanu comes in as the top-ranked British player in the women’s singles draw. While the 23-year-old has spent a period of time away from the court with illness, she is due to get her clay court season underway at the Mutua Madrid Open next week.
The world No.29 reached her first WTA final since the 2021 US Open earlier this year competing in Transylvania. She will be hoping to progress further than her career-best second round at the French Open.

Raducanu will be joined by Sonay Kartal and Katie Boulter as the remaining Brits in the women’s singles main draw.
Kartal made an impressive run to the fourth round at Indian Wells before a back injury forced her to miss the Miami Open and the start of the clay court season.
The British No.3 has shown her quality on clay in the past – not least during Great Britain’s 2025 Billie Jean King Cup Qualifiers where she won singles rubbers against Germany and the Netherlands on debut.
Boulter has been in strong form this season – winning her fourth career WTA title in Ostrava – and last year bagged her first clay court trophy at the WTA 125 Paris.

In the men’s draw, Norrie will be hoping to channel his recent run of performances at the Grand Slams.
He made the fourth round at Roland Garros last year before going on to make the quarter-final at Wimbledon.
The British No.1 has won two of his five ATP titles on clay and is always a dangerous player in best-of-five set matches.
Jack Draper will be hoping to get back for the French Open this year after sustaining a knee injury at the Barcelona Open.
Draper made the final of the Madrid Open last year and the fourth round at Roland Garros, so if the former world No.4 can make it to Paris, he’ll be one to watch.
Jacob Fearnley completes the line-up with the former world No.49 also hoping to make it back from injury at the Miami Open.
