British players

Emma Raducanu, Jack Draper and Cam Norrie are the first British names to be announced for the HSBC Championships this year.

Both Raducanu and Draper have been dealing with injuries or illness this year but will be hoping to spark back into form in front of the home crowd, while Norrie aims to continue his strong results this year.

Raducanu made the quarter-finals on her debut at The Queen's Club last year and has previously made the fourth round at Wimbledon. Earlier this year she made her first WTA final since her US Open title run in 2021 at the Transylvania Open and recently returned to competitive action at the Strasbourg Open.

British No.1 Norrie has surged back inside the world's top 20 earlier this year. He's a former Wimbledon semi-finalist and Queen's runner-up and has the experience to go far in West London.

Last year's semi-finalist Draper reached the quarter-finals of Indian Wells during his intial injury comeback - including a win over Novak Djokovic. This will be his first tournament back from injury.

On the women's side, Victoria Mboko and Iva Jovic are two of the brightest stars on the WTA Tour right now. Mboko has managed to break into the top-10 with impressive results in Doha, Indian Wells and Miami, while reigning Lexus Ilkley Open champion Jovic has the pedigree to perform well on the grass.

Marta Kostyuk is coming off the back of her first WTA 1000 title in Madrid and Sorana Cirstea is enjoying some of the best tennis of her career, recently reaching the Rome semi-finals.

Raphael Jodar is a name to follow across the grass court season after the Spanish teenager broke out during the clay court swing.

2024 champion Tommy Paul will be looking to recapture the Queen's magic this year, while former semi-finalist Holger Rune is on his journey back from long-term injury.

British success at The Queen’s Club

2016-Andy-Murray-Queens-champion.jpg

Andy Murray is the most successful player in Queen’s Club history – winning a record five singles and one doubles title.

He won his first men’s singles title in 2009 and repeated the feat in 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2016, before returning from injury to lift the doubles trophy with Feliciano Lopez in 2019.

He’s the only British player to win the singles title in the Open Era. Tim Henman reached the final three times in 1999,2001 and 2002, while Cam Norrie also finished runner-up in 2021.

Britain’s John Parish also reached the final in 1972, before Roger Taylor made the championship match in the following year. Mark Cox came runner-up at The Queen’s Club Championships in 1977.

There have been six British champions in men’s doubles: Jeremy Bates (1990), Jamie Murray (2017), Andy Murray (2019), Neal Skupski (2024), Julian Cash (2025), and Lloyd Glasspool (2025).

Last year was the first staging of the women’s event at The Queen’s Club during the Open Era, with no British winners in either the singles or doubles.
