Felix and Fletcher enjoy tournament wins

Felix Bockelmann-Evans enjoyed doubles success in a J30 ITF tournament in Malta, while Fletcher Davies took the silverware at the LTA Lexus Junior National Tour under-10 event in Bolton.
Felix and partner Harry Abel won the under-18 boys’ doubles at the ITF J30 Paola San Michel.
Felix and Harry, seeded four, beat number-seven seeds Leo Silverstone and Felix Triquart, fighting back from a 2-6 reverse in the first set to take the second set 6-3, and the tie-break 10-7.
Fletcher, who was recently selected to represent GB at under-11 to play against France next month won his final against Mylo Bonello Hall 4-0, 4-0. He dropped just one set on his way to the final, an achievement all the more remarkable considering he was playing an age-group up.
Tennis Cymru Head of Performance Chris Lewis said: “Da iawn to both Felix and Fletcher. Their wins demonstrate just how deep the talent pool in junior Welsh tennis is, with tournament wins at under-10 and under-18 age groups.”
