CIA Security Gate Access Resource Hub
Keeping Your Courts Safe and Accessible
At Tennis Wales, we’re committed to helping local authorities and park tennis court operators maintain secure, welcoming facilities for players. That’s why the LTA partnered with CIA Security during the LTA Parks Investment programme, a trusted partner in gate access and facility management solutions.
CIA Security provides smart gate systems that make it easy to manage access while ensuring safety and reliability. To help operators keep their gates in top condition, CIA has created a series of quick, practical video guides covering essential maintenance checks and adjustments.
Why These Resources Matter
Regular maintenance ensures:
- Smooth operation of gates and keypads
- Reduced downtime and lack of income
- Reduce chances of call out costs from CIA and subsequent repair costs
- A better experience for players and visitors
On the version 1 locks sometimes when the batteries die or the clocks go back or forward an hour it can cause a time slippage in the lock and the gate will issue the codes for the wrong time as a consequence. Therefore, gates may need re-syncing from time to time.
Re-syncing the Version 1 locks with the App at the site (black buttons and face)
Firstly log into the C3 Smart App using your assigned credentials
- Username : xxxx@ciafireandsecurity.co.uk
- Password : xxxxxxxx
- This will then generate an authorisation code on CIA’s end that you will then need to type in – to obtain this please call CIA on 01285 651025
- Once logged in on the C3 smart app scroll and find your park venue name on the list of parks
- Swipe “left” on the desired park
- Click “Sync” and it will be rectified and now in real time
- Ensure your phone is using the 24 hour clock when doing so

Re-syncing the timer in Version 2 locks (silver buttons and face)
- At the gate type in #31901011 54 YYMMDD HHMM
- This needs to be typed in using the 24 hour clock
- Please ensure you use UTC time – if you are unsure ask google
- This is sometimes 1 hour behind UK GMT
