Volunteers, venues, officials and players from across the country have been honoured at the Tennis Scotland Awards 2026.
The Scottish tennis and Padel tennis community came together for dinner and an evening of celebration as a total of 22 awards were handed out to deserving winners chosen by a panel from an extremely high calibre of nominations.
The event at Stirling Court Hotel on Friday 6 February was hosted by television presenter Phil MacHugh and looked back at some of the most memorable moments of 2025, including the launch of our new national schools programme and Scottish Cup Finals Day.
Marjory Love, who became world number one in her age category at 74, was named winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award in honour of her decades of commitment to Scottish tennis. Marjory also took home the Senior Veteran Player of the Year Award after incredibly going through 2025 unbeaten in singles competition.
The other tennis player awards went to Jacob Fearnley, Hamish Stewart and Cameron Rae, while national champions Rosie Dennis and Ashley Mears took home the Padel Award and West of Scotland Women were named Team of the Year following promotions in the Summer and Winter County Cups.
The much-coveted Dunlop Club of the Year prize was won by Stonehaven Tennis Club, and Chris McKenna of Irvine Tennis Community was named Volunteer of the Year. A full list of winners can be found below.
Blane Dodds, Chief Executive of Tennis Scotland, said: “Congratulations to the winners and the finalists at this year’s Tennis Scotland Awards, all of whom make an extraordinary contribution to tennis and padel across the country.
“We are so grateful to volunteers, coaches and officials for everything they do, and for giving up their time to support players, events and venues.
“It is always an inspirational evening listening to their stories, and I look forward to continuing to work with everyone across the Scottish tennis and padel community as we grow our sports.”
