Rosenzweig picked up his fourth title of the year, while there was a third victory for Barlow after an exciting week at Western Lawn Tennis Club.

In the men’s event, top seed Rosenzweig came from a set down in the opening round to beat David Killean 6-7, 6-2, 10-4, before straight-sets wins over Lance Nisbet and Scott MacAulay to reach the final.

There he faced Kyle McKay who took the opening set 6-2, but Rosenzweig fought back to win the second set by the same scoreline before clinching the title 10-5 in the match tie-break.

Going into the women’s draw as second seed, Barlow faced a tough opening tie, but eventually overcame Shaylin Holt 5-7, 6-3, 10-7 to progress into the semi-finals where she beat Aadya Iyer Chadalawada.

Second seed Sorcha Caves was her opponent in the final, but Barlow proved too strong, securing the title with a 6-2, 6-2 victory.

Aidan McHugh reached a final on the ITF World Tennis Tour after an impressive run at the M25 in Edwardsville, Illinois.

The third seed battled hard to earn three-set victories in the first two rounds, before an impressive 6-1, 6-3 defeat of Siphosothando Montsi in the last eight.

The Scot then recovered from a set down to beat Marko Miladinovic in the semi-finals to set up a final with seventh seed Kyle Kang.

McHugh took the first set, but American 20-year-old Kang recovered well to claim the title with a 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 win.
