West of Scotland Padel and Game4Padel Thistle win 2026 Padel Scottish Cup
West of Scotland Padel Women and Game4Padel Thistle Men were crowned national champions after a dramatic day of action at the Padel Scottish Cup Finals 2026.
Following weeks of club versus club ties around the country, Finals Day took place across four courts at Racket Barn in Glasgow as spectators flocked to watch live.
Both the men’s and women’s competitions went down to the wire, with 10-point shootouts required when the sides couldn’t be split after four rubbers.
In the men’s event, Game4Padel Thistle won the title for the first time with a 3-2 win over defending champions Game4Padel Barnton Park in an all-Edinburgh affair.
West of Scotland Padel won the women’s competition with a 3-2 victory over Edinburgh Sports Club to get their hands on the trophy for the third time in four years
West of Scotland Padel Women’s captain Charlotte McClure said: “It feels amazing, especially to win on a shootout after losing in one last year. We’ve had a really tough campaign with some close matches, so I’m very proud of the team.”
Game4Padel Thistle Men’s captain Ross Murdoch said: “It’s been a brilliant day, great to come through some tight matches. The shootout couldn’t have been any closer so very happy to have won.”
There’s not long to wait until our next major national padel event, with Racket Barn once again the venue as we host the Scottish Open Padel Championships 2026 from 18-20 September.
