Major Event Volunteers in Tennis

2017 Aegon Open Nottingham Volunteer Team

Volunteers have a strong presence at most of our Major Events, transforming them into unforgettable experiences for players and fans alike, with their boundless energy and enthusiasm for tennis.

Opportunities to volunteer will vary from year to year but the following tournaments often have an open-recruitment process:

  • Nature Valley International, Eastbourne (a small number of roles available)
  • Nature Valley Classic, Birmingham
  • Nature Valley Open, Nottingham
  • Fuzion 100 Manchester Trophy
  • Fuzion 100 Ilkley Trophy
  • Fuzion 100 Surbiton Trophy
  • Davis Cup & Fed Cup ties (Limited roles available. Venue dependent)

Opportunities to volunteer at these events are usually advertised on the LTA website three to four months before each event. Please note that applications for the 2018 events are now closed.

There are also opportunities to volunteer at our disability tennis events. Please visit the Tennis Foundation website to find out more.

Coming soon - Fed Cup, Feb 2019

Applications will open in mid-November to volunteer at Britain's first home Fed Cup tie in 25 years.

We are looking to assemble a super-friendly volunteer team to help deliver this prestigious event, which takes place from Wednesday 6 – Saturday 9 February 2019, at the University of Bath.

As part of the team, you'll get to cover a variety of different roles and meet lots of new people too. Event apparel, training and food will also be provided.

All you need is bags of enthusiasm; no previous tennis or volunteering experience is required.
