Salisbury kick started his year reaching the Australian Open mens doubles final with partner Rajeev Ram, losing to Dodig and Polasek in straight sets but defeating Jamie Murray in the semis. The pair reached the semi-finals in Acapulco and Miami and Barcelona. Their strong start to the year continued as they reached the ATP Masters 1000 Rome final - narrowly losing to world no.1 Mate Pavic and no.4 Nikola Mektic. He then joined up with Desirae Krawczyk to lift his second Grand Slam title in the French Open mixed doubles.

Salisbury and Ram also reached the semi-finals at Wimbledon, with the Brit also making the final of the mixed doubles with Harriet Dart. Later that month he joined forces with Andy Murray to reach the quarter-finals of the men's doubles at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

In August, Salisbury and Ram won their maiden ATP Masters 1000 title in Toronto, ending Pavic and Mektic's 18-match unbeaten run to lift the trophy.

The British, American duo then turned their attention to the US Open, where they secured their second men's doubles Grand Slam title together, beating Murray and Bruno Soares in three-sets. The next day, Salisbury returned to court in the mixed doubles final with Krawczyk, where he won fourth career title. He became the first man since Bob Bryan in 2011 to win both the US Open men's and mixed doubles titles.

Salisbury's strong season continued late into the year - he backed up his US Open double by winning the ATP 250 San Diego title with Neal Skupski.

Won first Grand Slam title at Australian Open alongside Rajeev Ram. Alongside Harriet Dart, clinched victory for British Bulldogs in Battle of the Brits team tennis event with a match tie break win over Jamie Murray and Heather Watson. Continued his impressive partnership with Ram by reaching the semi-finals of the US Open and the quarter-finals at Roland Garros. Advanced to the semi-finals of the Nitto ATP Finals alongside Rajeev Ram and finished the season as the second best doubles team in the world, according to the ATP Tour Rankings.

Losing finalist at Queen’s alongside Rajeev Ram as Andy Murray and Feliciano Lopez won the title. Reached the quarter-final at Roland Garros with Ram, losing out to home favourites Jeremy Chardy and Fabrice Martin. Won the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships in March, defeating Ben McLachlan and Jan-Lennard Struff in the final.

Salisbury is a four-time Grand Slam champion - winning both the Australian Open (2020) and US Open (2021) men's doubles titles with Rajeev Ram, as well as the French Open (2021) and US Open (2021) mixed doubles crowns with Desirae Krawczyk.

Titles in Vienna and Dubai in 2019 secured Salisbury and Ram's place in their first Nitto ATP Finals as one of the top doubles pairs of the season and returned to the O2 again in 2020.

He made his breakthrough reaching the semi-finals in the 2018 Wimbledon men's doubles thanks to a wild card, in partnership with Frederik Nielsen. Playing alongside Ben McLachlan, he won his first ATP Tour title later that year at the 2018 Shenzhen Open.

Salisbury made his ATP main draw debut at the 2014 U.S. National Indoor Tennis Championships in the doubles draw partnering David O'Hare, where they lost to the Bryan brothers in the first round. Represented GB Team in 2015 World University Games. Played college tennis at University of Memphis from 2010 to 2014, graduating with a degree in economics. Struggled prior to that with glandular fever and various injuries. Growing up was part of various LTA national squads and camps.
