Won first Grand Slam title at Australian Open alongside Rajeev Ram. Alongside Harriet Dart, clinched victory for British Bulldogs in Battle of the Brits team tennis event with a match tie break win over Jamie Murray and Heather Watson. Continued his impressive partnership with Ram by reaching the semi-finals of the US Open and the quarter-finals at Roland Garros. Advanced to the semi-finals of the Nitto ATP Finals alongside Rajeev Ram and finished the season as the second best doubles team in the world, according to the ATP Tour Rankings.

Losing finalist at Queen’s alongside Rajeev Ram as Andy Murray and Feliciano Lopez won the title. Reached the quarter-final at Roland Garros with Ram, losing out to home favourites Jeremy Chardy and Fabrice Martin. Won the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships in March, defeating Ben McLachlan and Jan-Lennard Struff in the final.

Made his breakthrough reaching the semi-finals in the 2018 Wimbledon men's doubles thanks to a wild card, in partnership with Frederik Nielsen. Playing alongside Ben McLachlan, he won his first ATP Tour title later that year at the 2018 Shenzhen Open.

Salisbury made his ATP main draw debut at the 2014 U.S. National Indoor Tennis Championships in the doubles draw partnering David O'Hare, where they lost to the Bryan brothers in the first round. Represented GB Team in 2015 World University Games. Played college tennis at University of Memphis from 2010 to 2014, graduating with a degree in economics. Struggled prior to that with glandular fever and various injuries. Growing up was part of various LTA national squads and camps.
