Widnes Tennis Club has recently been awarded LTA 10U Performance Programme status, making us one of only a small number of nationally recognised performance environments in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly developing programme with genuine opportunities for professional growth and long-term career progression.
About the Role
As Lead U8 Coach, you will:
• Lead and develop our successful U8 performance programme
• ⁠Work closely with the Head of Performance to identify, nurture and develop young players with long-term potential
• ⁠Grow participation and strengthen the player pathway through an exciting schools outreach programme.
• ⁠Create and manage internal match play opportunities to support player development.
• ⁠Support the delivery of our wider U10 Performance Programme and collaborate with the coaching team across the pathway.
• ⁠Help create a fun, inspiring and challenging environment where children develop a love for tennis alongside the skills needed to succeed.

Widnes Tennis Club, has recently been recognised as a 10U Performance Programme, one of 33 across the country. This demonstrates our track record of producing top level players on the national pathway, we are incredibly passionate and determined to continue this.
