This a a blended role of tennis and padel coaching. The incoming coach will be joining a strong team of coaches which includes two level 5's, two level 4's and 2 level 3's. The new coach should be comfortable coaching:

🎾Beginners to Advanced Adult Tennis Groups
🎾 School's Tennis/Padel Lessons
🎾 Holiday Camps
🎾 1-2-1 Lessons in Tennis and Padel
🎾Junior Padel Groups
🎾Beginners to Intermediate Adult Groups

The position is for an early September 2026 start and the successful applicant will hit the ground running with 25+ hours in groups and 1-2-1's the first week. Please note we expect our coaches to be able to work evenings and 1 day at weekend.

Down The Line Tennis & Padel Academy is based at York St John University Sports Park just 1 mile from York City Centre. York is an amazing place to live and work steeped in history and culture.

We are looking for a coach who:

🎾 Has a minimum of 3 years full-time coaching experience
🎾 Is passionate about tennis/padel coaching
🎾 Is comfortable working as part of a team
🎾 Has excellent timekeeping
🎾 Has great interpersonal skills
🎾 Has high personal standards
🎾 Is a great role model for our players
