Tennis Coach - Worcester Park Tennis Club
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate coach to run group and individual sessions at our club.
The current coaching programme would offer 15 to 20 hours per week on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
In addition to this, there is the opportunity on these days to add to the programme with further groups, hitting sessions, and private lessons.
The successful candidate will inherit an established programme with regular junior and adult players already attending each week, while also having the freedom to develop additional coaching opportunities and build their own hours further.
There is also the potential to work with local schools.
Our junior programme has grown significantly in recent years, with up to 100 children playing tennis with us each week, and we are looking for someone who will help us continue that momentum and increase participation across both junior and adult tennis.
We are looking for someone driven and enthusiastic to join the team, develop the coaching programme further and help us to increase participation at the club.
The coach will be ambitious and take pride in their delivery on court.
Worcester Park Tennis has two hard floodlit courts and is part of Worcester Park Athletic Club.
A project to resurface the courts is progressing and the club is investing in its facilities.
We are a small, friendly club with a very active playing membership.
We have up to 100 children per week playing tennis.
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and driven, with the enthusiasm to extend the coaching programme further.
The person should be outgoing, passionate about teaching and love working with both children and adults.
They will need to be LTA accredited/accedited+ and a level 3 coach or Level 2 aspiring level 3.
