Tennis Coach - Stafford Manor Indoor Tennis Centre
This is an exciting part-time tennis coaching role at Stafford Indoor Tennis Centre, one of National Tennis's two flagship indoor centres. The role starts part-time but is set up to grow: for an ambitious coach there is genuine, supported scope to build this into a full-time position as you grow your hours and your own private lesson base.
With indoor courts available year-round, plus local venues within travelling distance, Stafford offers consistent delivery and excellent earning potential. On-court delivery consists of LTA Youth through to Adult group sessions on a weekly basis — a mixture of established sessions and new sessions you will help develop.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality group coaching and can run a self employed coaching business alongside the programme.
Key Responsibilities:
• On-court delivery: deliver tennis coaching across LTA Youth Start, Tennis Express, Adult sessions and Cardio Tennis.
• Develop school and club links to help grow the coaching programme.
• Build your own private lesson base: develop and run individual coaching on a self employed basis alongside the group programme.
Hours & Compensation:
• Part-time role to start, with guaranteed, supported hours and a clear path to full-time as you build the programme.
• Group delivery typically £18–£28 per hour, dependent on qualifications and
experience.
• Build your own private lesson base, typically £35+ per hour, with 100% of selfemployed individual coaching income retained.
• Additional income available from school outreach and camps.
• Both employed and self-employed arrangements are available.

The successful applicant will be an LTA Level 2 Accredited coach (strong level 1 coaches looking to take their level 2 will be considered) and have:
On-Court:
• Experience as an Accredited LTA Coach, tailoring sessions to a range of skill levels to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
• Commitment to the safety and welfare of all participants, adhering to safeguarding policies and promoting a positive, inclusive sporting environment.
Off-Court Responsibilities:
• Good organisation and planning skills to support programme growth.
• The ability to engage with NTA management, schools, partners and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to problem solve.
General Skills and Qualities:
• Passion and enthusiasm for the game and a minimum of 1 year's experience
delivering a wide range of coaching sessions.
• A strong customer service ethos and a desire to improve coaching services for all.
• A professional, reliable manner and the ability to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team.
• A dedication to personal and professional development.
• Experience using software packages (including ClubSpark).
