This self-employed position, offered under a Coaching Agreement, represents an innovative opportunity where you will own your coaching sessions and benefit directly from a revenue share model.

You will inherit established, profitable coaching sessions with built-in client bases, where your primary duty is to deliver high-quality coaching to players aged 4 to adults across structured development pathways. Responsibilities range from delivering the Aspire pathway for foundational skills to the Commit pathway for club competitors, and the Excel pathway for high-performing county and national juniors.

Starting with a guaranteed hours plus private lessons, the role offers rapid progression to scale up to 30+ hours weekly through satellite centres, competitions, school partnerships, and holiday camps. You will also take responsibility for managing your own portfolio of individual lessons while driving session retention and growth with the full promotional and administrative support of Team Stony Tennis.

Team Stony Tennis operates as the official coaching provider at Stony Stratford Lawn Tennis Club, a premier facility in North Buckinghamshire led by Director of Tennis John Cavill. The club features 9 high-quality floodlit courts, including 2 artificial clay courts covered by a temporary air-dome from October to April to provide year-round indoor training. Serving a thriving community of 550 adult and junior members, the venue hosts a vibrant calendar of social and competitive events. On-site amenities include a modern clubhouse with a lounge, member's bar, kitchen, fitness suite, table tennis facilities, pro shop, and a dedicated coach’s office. The coaching operation is fully supported by a core coaching team, a full-time administrator, assistant coaches, Tennis Leaders, and a dedicated marketing division.

The ideal candidate will hold a minimum LTA Level 3 or Level 4 coaching qualification alongside active LTA Accreditation. A valid UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle are essential requirements to facilitate travel between satellite locations and local schools. Candidates must possess a proven track record of delivering high-quality group and individual sessions to players of varying ages and skill levels up to club standard. You should demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional self-discipline, enthusiasm, reliability, and strong timekeeping. Outstanding communication and organizational abilities are paramount, as is the capacity to work collaboratively within a supportive coaching environment.
