Part Time Tennis Coach - Bishop's Stortford Lawn Tennis & Padel Club
•A full time Level 3 Accredited Coach (or Level 2 if planning to complete Level 3)
•Assisting and leading Mini Tennis, Junior & Adult Groups
•Assisting and leading Holiday Camps
•Coach existing school squads
•Individual lessons
•Further develop opportunities for members to engage in tennis and coaching
•Indoor courts 6 months of year
•This role will be predominantly Thursday to Sunday, with some cover needed at times
| Bishop’s Stortford Lawn Tennis & Padel Club is a well-established club with a thriving membership of over 600 playing members. •We have a long running successful tennis programme and an extensive schools program. •The club has 5 astro courts, 3 hard courts (with seasonal dome), 2 artificial clay courts, 2 canopy covered Padel courts and 6 grass tennis courts. •We enter Junior & Senior Teams in local and county leagues and offer a social and competitive atmosphere to the Club. •We run a successful programme at a number of schools and also run the Town Park courts. |
•The successful candidate will be a dynamic and enthusiastic coach with great communication and team skills, and experience in coaching both adults and children.
•Work well in a team, organised, reliable, punctual and efficient at time management.
•You will be expected to have a strong playing background.
•You will be responsible for delivering elements of the club
programme as well as delivering and expanding the schools programme with the aim of increasing junior membership.
•The role includes mentoring assistant coaches at the club and assisting with delivery of sessions and professional development of assistant coaches.
•Ideally you will participate in club matches.
•There is scope to provide individual lessons at the club as we have a waiting list.
•Attend termly coaches meetings.
•Use of a car is essential.
•Hourly rate dependent on experience and qualifications.
•Hours likely to be predominantly Thursday to Sunday.
