The successful candidate will play a key role across our coaching programme, including:

- Leading junior/adult group coaching sessions.
- Delivering tennis coaching within our expanding schools outreach programme.
- Supporting player development from grassroots through to competitive tennis.
- Help maintain the welcoming, inclusive and high quality coaching environment for which the club is known.
- Plenty of opportunity to build a substantial client base for private lessons.
- Acting as a good level sparring partner for our competition focused junior players and stronger adult players at the club.
- Opportunity to expand coaching skillset as a Padel coach

Great Missenden Lawn Tennis Club (GMLTC) is set in a beautiful location and offers a warm, welcoming environment for players of all abilities, from beginners to experienced players. The club boasts 20 excellent courts, including 4 grass, 4 acrylic, 1 hard mini court, 9 synthetic clay and 2 Padel courts, with 8 courts floodlit for year-round play.

Make It Tennis has been delivering coaching at GMLTC since September 2024. In a short space of time, we have helped grow the small existing programme into a thriving junior and adult coaching community. We have enjoyed great success developing and working with a number of county/regional level juniors, while helping players of all ages improve and enjoy their tennis and padel.

Together with the club’s forward-thinking approach and strong sense of community, this commitment to player development helped GMLTC earn the LTA Bucks Club of the Year award in 2026, a fantastic recognition of the club’s ongoing progress and ambition.

We are looking for someone who is :

- LTA level 2 or higher.
- Current LTA accreditation and valid DBS certificate.
- Up to date safeguarding and first aid qualifications
- Full UK driving licence (essential to deliver coaching in outreach programme)
- Personable, enthusiastic and looking to develop their career in a supportive, ambitious environment.
