Part Time Lead Coach
We are seeking a part-time coach to fulfill an existing programme on Saturdays (09.00-13.00) - junior group coaching with currently between 40 and 50 children.
We also have an existing programme on Monday evenings (19.00 -21.00), a school group and an advanced club group.
A rusty racquets group and 1-1 coaching are currently scheduled for Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but these can be re-scheduled to suit coach and customers.
There is significant potential for a junior group on Fridays (16.00-18.00) as well as more one to one and small group coaching during the week.
We are a club based in our local community with a key aim of providing a coaching programme for young people in the vicinity of the club, as well as supporting our members.
Burnham Tennis Association has 3 recently resurfaced courts, and excellent modern lighting on 2 courts. Plans are underway to add a third set.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed coach to run his/her own programme, building on the existing base.
We believe there is significant potential to grow the coaching beyond the current levels offered.
The ideal candidate will:
•Be self-employed and qualified to Level 3 with LTA accreditation
•Have proven ability to work with both Juniors and Adults, offering a range of classes to satisfy all needs
•Have the skills and experience to work independently
•Have an outgoing personality and excellent communication skills
•Be well organized, administratively adept, resilient and reliable in the delivery of advertised programmes
•Provide evidence of a desire for self-improvement e.g. through participation in CPD courses
Note:
The position could suit a Level 2 coach with the above attributes and the ambition and motivation to qualify at level 3.
