Hadley Wood Tennis Club (EN4) is a friendly and welcoming community club in North London with seven courts, two hard and five artificial grass. Since taking over the coaching programme two years ago, we have been steadily developing both our junior and adult programmes, with a strong focus on creating a positive, inclusive and sociable club environment. Our aim is not only to provide high-quality coaching, but also to build a real sense of community through junior development, adult coaching, social tennis evenings, clinics, holiday camps, competitions and family activities. The programme is continuing to grow, offering an exciting opportunity for the right coach to become an important part of its development and increase their coaching hours over time.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and professional coach who enjoys working closely with people and becoming part of a club community. The successful candidate should be reliable, well organised, punctual and a strong communicator with juniors, adults, parents and fellow coaches. Teamwork is essential, and we are looking for someone who is happy to share ideas, support colleagues and contribute positively to the continued growth of the programme. Candidates should have experience delivering junior and adult group coaching as well as one-to-one lessons, with a good playing and hitting standard. The coach must be LTA Level2 or 3 qualified and LTA Accredited, with current DBS, Safeguarding and First Aid requirements in place. A clean driving licence is essential. We are particularly interested in someone ambitious and proactive who is willing to develop their role, build their own client base and increase their hours as the programme grows.
