Padel Club Manager
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Support with the setup, launch, and opening of the new padel club
•Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Club, ensuring a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for all visitors
•Take ownership of revenue growth initiatives
•Plan, coordinate, and manage club activities, leagues, tournaments, and Corporate events
•Foster a vibrant social atmosphere and strong club community
•Manage customer communications, booking systems, digital platforms, and overall customer service standards
•Lead and support a high-performing team of freelance padel coaches,
•Assist with creating engaging social media and marketing content for the Club
•Maintain positive relationships local community stakeholders where necessary
•Work on sponsorship and membership acquisition and retention
Key Skills & Experience:
• Ideally previous experience managing a hospitality, leisure, sports, or customer-focused venue
•Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and drive business performance
•Understanding of marketing, customer engagement, and community outreach would be advantageous
•Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm, approachable, and team-focused attitude
•Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the ability to take ownership and deliver results independently
Chippenham Padel Club is a brand-new premium indoor padel facility located within Emery Gate Shopping Centre in the heart of Chippenham. The club has been created to bring one of the world's fastest-growing sports to Wiltshire, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for players of all ages and abilities.
The club will feature four indoor padel courts, modern changing facilities, a reception and social area, coaching programmes, leagues, tournaments, corporate events, and a vibrant community calendar designed to make the club a destination for both sport and social interaction.
Padel is experiencing exceptional growth across the UK, with participation increasing rapidly and hundreds of new courts opening nationwide. The sport's appeal lies in its accessibility, social nature, and suitability for players of all ages and skill levels. The UK now has more than 1,500 courts and approximately 860,000 annual players, with continued strong growth forecast by the LTA and industry operators.
