Padel Club Coach - Padel Xero Cannock
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to join a new club from the outset and shape the coaching offering from day one.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive coaching programme that caters for all abilities, from complete beginners through to advanced and competitive players. You'll play a vital role in creating an engaging club environment that encourages participation, retention, and progression.
As Padel Xero continues to expand, there will be opportunities for increased responsibility and progression within the wider coaching structure of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching Programme Development
Design and implement a structured coaching pathway for:
Beginner players
Improver and intermediate players
Advanced and competitive players
Junior players (where applicable)
Deliver high-quality group coaching sessions and private lessons.
Develop coaching courses, clinics, workshops and specialist training programmes.
Monitor player progress and provide ongoing support and development plans.
Community & Club Development
Help build a vibrant and welcoming club culture.
Encourage participation in coaching and social activities.
Assist in member onboarding and player retention initiatives.
Support marketing and promotional activities, including social media content where appropriate.
Competitions & Events
Organise and run:
Club leagues
Box leagues
Social competitions
Open days and taster sessions
Weekend tournaments and events
Support the creation of a year-round events calendar.
Develop competitive pathways for players wishing to progress.
Operational Support
Work closely with the management team to grow coaching revenue and participation.
Ensure coaching sessions are professionally managed through the Playtomic platform.
Maintain court etiquette, safety standards and excellent customer service.
Act as a positive ambassador for the Padel Xero brand.
Padel Xero is an ambitious and fast-growing padel operator committed to making padel more accessible across the UK. Our newest venue in Cannock is due to open in September 2026, featuring two full-size covered courts and a singles court.
This is just the beginning. We have an active expansion strategy and are planning to grow our network of venues regionally and nationally throughout 2027 and beyond.
We're looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial Club Coach to help establish our coaching programme, grow our player community, and become a key part of our journey as we expand.
Essential
Passion for padel and developing players.
Previous coaching experience in padel, tennis, racket sports or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly motivated, self-managing and entrepreneurial mindset.
Ability to build relationships and create a strong club atmosphere.
Desirable
Accredited Padel Coach qualification.
LTA Coach qualification or equivalent racket sport coaching certification.
Experience managing leagues, tournaments and club events.
Experience using Playtomic or similar booking platforms.
