Padel Centre Manager – New Padel Facility at Hart Leisure Centre, Fleet
Court & Community Manager (Padel)
Hart Leisure Centre, Fleet, Hampshire - new three-court facility opening October 2026
£35,000 full-time, plus 50% of your coaching revenue, with a target-driven bonus scheme and potential profit share. Total earnings of £50,000+ are achievable (plus personal coaching revenue) once the site is established.
Full-time, 40 hours a week - or fewer management hours if you would rather spend part of your day coaching. Full-time or part-time, with flexibility around your coaching commitment.
Run a padel club from day one - and keep coaching
This October we open three brand-new padel courts at Hart Leisure Centre in Fleet, and we are looking for the person who will run them.
This is a launch role, not a caretaker role. There is no existing membership, no established programme and no inherited way of doing things. The courts, the leagues, the coaching offer, the community around it - you build all of it. If you have ever looked at how a padel site is run and thought you would do it differently, this is the job where you get to.
We think the right person is a padel coach who wants to run a site without giving up coaching. So we have built the role, and the pay, around that.
What you would actually earn
Most padel manager roles pay a salary and stop there. Ours has three parts, and the third one is where it gets interesting.
- Salary of £35,000 for a full-time management week. If you would rather manage for fewer hours and spend part of your day coaching instead, you can - just tell us how many management hours a day the site needs from you, anywhere from four to a full day. The salary is pro-rated, so a 25-hour management week pays £23,333.
- 50% of the coaching revenue for every session you personally deliver. Uncapped, from launch day, and you set the rates.
- Target-driven bonus scheme with potential profit share, subject to negotiation.
What makes this different
You choose the split between managing and coaching
We are happy to agree reduced management hours if you would rather spend part of your day coaching. Tell us how many hours a day the site genuinely needs from you as manager - anywhere from four up to a full day - and we will contract and pay you for those hours. Every hour outside them, you are free to coach at our courts. No cap, no minimum, and no requirement to hit a performance target before you can start.
You set the coaching prices - all of them
Your 50% applies across every format: individual, pairs, group, beginner courses, clinics, junior activity, corporate. You also set the rates across the site and the share other coaches here receive. We are not going to tell a coach how to price coaching.
A real route into the business, not a job title upgrade
Most club manager roles offer progression to Area Manager. We are offering something different. Part of this role is finding our next sites - and where you identify and develop one we go on to open, you receive 10% of that site's profit for five years. Before we offer investment in a site you helped create to any outside investor, we will talk to you first about buying in as a partner. We would rather build this with someone than for someone.
Transparent numbers
You will see the full certified cost schedule before you accept, so you know exactly what the site has to cover before your bonus scheme starts. Every month you get reporting on revenue, costs and occupancy, with each line shown against budget, and the calculation of your share. No black box.
What you will actually do
- Run the day-to-day commercial and operational side of a three-court site.
- Build the playing community from nothing - leagues, ladders, socials, and the culture that keeps people coming back.
- Set and adjust court pricing in response to demand.
- Build and manage the coaching offer, including recruiting coaches as demand grows.
- Run our social media and local marketing, and make Hart the padel club people in Fleet talk about.
- Lead community outreach, including free and subsidised sessions for local schools and underrepresented groups.
- Coach as much as you want to, outside your management hours.
- Help us find and open the next site.
The package
- £35,000 full-time - 40 hours a week on site, of which 37.5 are paid, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break daily. Pro-rated if you choose fewer management hours: £23,333 at 25 hours.
- 50% of coaching revenue for sessions you personally deliver, paid through PAYE.
- Target-driven bonus scheme and potential profit share, subject to negotiated agreement.
- 10% of profit for five years on any new site you identify and help develop, plus first refusal on investing in it.
- 33 days' leave in total - 25 days plus all bank holidays.
- Workplace pension.
- Employee Assistance Programme - confidential support for you and your household, day or night.
- Free on-site parking at Hart Leisure Centre.
- Laptop and mobile phone provided. Business mileage and expenses covered.
- Mandatory training and LTA qualification costs fully funded, plus paid time for your own professional development.
- Home working for the administrative side - marketing, league admin, reporting and outreach planning.
- A formal review six months after launch covering scope, hours, coaching capacity and pay.
How to apply
Send your CV and a short note to Marc@thepremierpadel.co.uk telling us two things: what you would do in the first three months to fill the courts, and how you would want to split your time between managing and coaching.
Closing date: 14 September. We are interviewing as applications arrive and will close early if we find the right person, so please do not wait.
Start date is October 2026 to coincide with launch, though we can be flexible for the right candidate.
Padel Champions
We are Padel Champions. This October we open three brand-new padel courts at Hart Leisure Centre in Fleet, Hampshire, and we are looking for the person who will run them.
The venue
Hart Leisure Centre represents an excellent location for padel, combining strong existing footfall and an established membership base with a large, relatively affluent local catchment. The new covered, high-quality courts provide a year-round playing experience, fill a clear gap in the centre's current racket-sport offering and have strong potential to attract both existing leisure-centre members and standalone padel customers.
The courts are open early to late, seven days a week, with free on-site parking.
A site starting from nothing
This is a launch, not a handover. There is no existing membership, no established programme and no inherited way of doing things. The courts, the leagues, the coaching offer and the community around it are all still to be built - which is exactly why we are looking for someone who wants to build them.
How we work
We are transparent about the numbers
Whoever takes this role sees the full certified cost schedule before accepting, so they know exactly what the site has to cover. Every month they receive reporting on revenue, costs and occupancy, each line shown against budget, along with the calculation of their own share. No black box.
We would rather build this with someone than for someone
Most club manager roles offer progression to Area Manager. We are offering something different: a share of the sites you help us open, and first refusal on investing in them before we go to any outside investor.
We are here to grow the game locally
Community outreach is part of the job, not an add-on - including free and subsidised sessions for local schools and underrepresented groups.
Equal opportunities
Padel Champions is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from everyone and will make reasonable adjustments at any stage of the process - just tell us what you need. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check because it involves working with children and young people.
We think the right person is a padel coach who wants to run a site without giving up coaching.
Qualifications and clearance
- A qualified padel coach, or a tennis coach converting to padel, with a current LTA (or equivalent) qualification.
- Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check, which we pay for. The role involves working with children and young people.
Commercial ability
- Commercially minded, and understands that empty courts are the enemy - able to think about pricing, occupancy and margin.
- Comfortable running social media and local marketing without waiting to be told.
Coaching and community
- A community builder. Technical coaching ability matters, but so does making a nervous beginner want to come back on Thursday.
Practical requirements
- Able to get to Fleet reliably.
- Able to work a fair share of evenings and weekends. The courts are open early to late, seven days a week, and we will agree a rota with you rather than hand you one.
- Full-time is 40 hours a week on site, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day, so 37.5 paid hours. Reduced management hours can be agreed if you would rather spend part of your day coaching.
If you tick most of this and not all of it, apply and tell us which bits you would need help with.
