Level 3 tennis coach - Hove Park Tennis Alliance, Hove
The successful candidate will work with the HPTA committee and our existing coaching team to deliver and expand our existing programme.
We have existing hours to offer our new coach, a waiting list for individual lessons as well as a list of new classes we would like to deliver, so our new coach will be busy from the outset.
Your role will include:
•To deliver high quality, energetic and engaging classes for all ages and levels.
• To Create a positive, inclusive and enjoyable coaching environment.
• To Support the development and progression of club members and all players in the coaching programme.
• To maintain high standards of professionalism, punctuality, organisation and communication with your team, players, parents and club members.
• To assist with the development of coaching programmes, match-plays, events, camps, and other club activities.
• To follow LTA safeguarding, health and safety and coaching standards.
Hove Park Tennis Alliance (HPTA) is a not for profit that has taken over the previously council run Hove Park tennis courts. We have and continue to improve and develop our facilities, including installing 5 floodlit artificial clay courts which sit alongside two existing hard courts.
HPTA works alongside our existing coaching team to deliver a high quality and varied programme including Scamps (2-4yrs) Multi sport classes, all age groups of Youth tennis, competitive juniors, school sessions and camps.
Our Adult programme and busy club nights feed our 7 Parks League teams.
We are an extremely busy site, with public, members, coaching and events which is why we need an additional coach.
| •LTA Level 3 qualification, with valid LTA Coach Accreditation. •Valid DBS, Safeguarding and First Aid certification, held as part of current LTA Coach Accreditation. •Well organised, reliable and professional, with excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with parents, players and club members. •Proactive, positive and passionate about tennis and developing players. •Able to work effectively as part of a coaching team and contribute positively to the collaborative development of the programme. •Experience coaching both juniors and adults across a range of ages and abilities. •Experience delivering group coaching sessions, camps, match plays, squads and player development programmes. |
