Head of Tennis, Wallingford and Didcot, (South Oxfordshire)
The role is a full time role, between core group delivery - 22 hours of core groups and individual coaching hours in your own time.
On-court delivery consists of School/Club links LTA Youth Start through to Adult group sessions.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver an individual coaching business. There are no court fees to deliver individual coaching and the successful candidate will run a self-employed coaching business alongside delivering a group coaching programme.
The successful candidate will quickly build a minimum of 10-15 hours of regular individual coaching sessions, which will be supported with marketing by NTA.
Key Responsibilities:
To deliver and maintain a high quality, all-round coaching programme that caters for all ages and abilities.
To deliver an initial 22 hours of core group coaching per week and be available for individual coaching delivery. Full description available during the interview process.
To assess the programme quality and check results regularly alongside the Programme Manager where necessary to ensure the programme and venues usage continues to grow.
To undertake any other duties as may be required, such as coach meetings and off court training.
Portcullis LTC is a LTA Registered Venue with over 330 members located on the Hithercroft Sports Park (OX10 9RB) on the edge of Wallingford. Founded in 1952, Portcullis LTC has seen steady growth and benefits from 5 all-weather hard courts and floodlight facilities meaning we can play all year round. The club competes in various county competitions at all ages and abilities with the Men’s first team in the Premier Division.
