Full Time Lead Coach in South Oxford
This is a full-time Lead Coach position with National Tennis Association, based across our established network of clubs and venues in South Oxfordshire. You will lead, build and develop a successful weekly group coaching programme for juniors and adults, working alongside a supportive local coaching team.
The role is built around 25 hours of core weekly group coaching, delivered Monday to Saturday across 47 weeks of the year, mainly evenings and weekends. On top of this there are opportunities for individual coaching, holiday camps (October, February, Easter and May half terms plus four weeks in the summer), school sessions, Free Park Tennis and community events.
On-court delivery covers LTA Youth and adult group sessions, from beginners through to competitive players. You will keep 100% of your income from individual coaching, giving you the chance to build your own coaching business alongside the group programme.
Our pay is transparent and linked to your coach level (Core, Lead and Senior) and the occupancy of your programme, reviewed quarterly. Combining group coaching, individual coaching and holiday camps, we expect the role to reach £40,000+ per year as the programme grows. The role can be offered on either an employed (PAYE) or self-employed basis, whichever suits you best.
Start date: December 2026 or January 2027.

Deliver a high-quality coaching programme that caters for all ages and abilities.

Support promotions, open days, holiday camps and community events.
Review programme quality and results regularly and adapt where necessary.
Undertake any other duties as may be required.
