Full Time Coach- daytime hours guarenteed
We are looking for a motivated and passionate coach to join our team on a full-time basis starting from January 2027.
The role will involve a minimum of 30 hours per week, with a mixture of groups, individuals and performance tennis, delivered across 6 days (Monday-Saturday).
We are also looking for a part-time coach who could take on some of the workload if required, allowing this role to be structured across 5 days and 35–40 hours per week. However, the successful candidate for this role will need to be willing to work on Saturday mornings or afternoons, as this forms an important part of our performance programme.
As a club with full membership and a waiting list of prospective players, there is consistent demand for coaching, providing an excellent opportunity to build additional hours if desired.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a small but successful and ambitious coaching team. The successful candidate will be stepping into an established role with an existing programme, while also having the opportunity to develop their own coaching profile and build a long-term career within the club.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about developing players at all levels, while also contributing positively to the wider club environment.
The friendliest club in all of Middlesex? We certainly like to think so. Located in a residential area of Belsize Park, right next to Belsize Tube Station with six floodlit artificial clay courts cater for all ages and levels of play.
Social tennis is the backbone of the club but we also treat competitive tennis very seriously and often our teams manage to perform above their fighting weight.
Our attractive clubhouse offers modern facilities, with a lounge and bar, kitchen and changing rooms, an extraordinary view of all six courts and a superb venue for our members to enjoy.
The right person will:
-Hold a minimum accredited+ Level 2 (Level 3 desired)
-Have good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with players of different ages and abilities.
-Be reliable, professional and enthusiastic in their approach to coaching.
-Be passionate about tennis and committed to providing a positive experience for all players.
-Have a genuine desire to continue learning and develop as a coach.
Development & Support
We are committed to supporting the successful candidate in developing their coaching skills and experience. As a team, we strive to do our best, support each other and create an environment where coaches can continue to learn and develop.
We will provide guidance, mentoring and support from experienced members of our coaching team, helping you develop new skills, reflect on your coaching and become a more confident and effective coach.
We are particularly interested in candidates who are ambitious, open to feedback and motivated to progress their coaching career.
You do not need to have everything figured out- we will provide the support and mentoring to help you continue to improve and reach your potential as a coach.
