The successful coach will offer a range of group and individual sessions for juniors and adults, while actively supporting the club’s ambition to grow and retain membership.

The self-employed coach will have the freedom to set and manage their own coaching programme and pricing structure, with the expectation that pricing remains competitive within the local market.

Hauxton Tennis is a small two-courts village tennis club, operated by a club committee of volunteers under the oversight of the parish council. Situated off the A10 just outside Cambridge the courts have players from neighbouring villages, within easy reach of Trumpington.

Essential characteristics:

Minimum level 2
Valid DBS
First aid certificate
LTA safeguarding training to be up to date
Evidence of valid public liability and professional indemnity insurance

Some experience in working with different age groups
Ability to plan and deliver structured sessions.
