Centre Manager - Stafford Manor Indoor Tennis Centre
National Tennis is looking for an ambitious tennis coach ready to take the next step: leading Stafford Manor Indoor Tennis Centre, one of our flagship indoor venues. This is a coaching-first role - you'll be on court every week as the heart of what you do - combined with leading the centre day-to-day and having an impact on everything that happens there.
Your week:
- 25 core coaching hours on our programme
- Plus schools, events, private lessons and competitions
- Plus additional admin and management time to run the centre
Together this makes a 40-hour-a-week minimum role, with an annual income of at least £40,000 - and more for a driven individual who grows the programme.
What you'll do:
- Coach - deliver outstanding sessions across our coaching plan, holiday camps, schools and competitions, and build your own private lesson base.
- Lead the centre - there isn't a big team behind you; you're the one who makes the centre tick. Lead on standards, the day-to-day running of the venue and the member experience.
- Grow the programme - drive participation across juniors, adults, schools and community sessions, and get more people on court more often.
- Oversee the numbers - you won't own the commercial performance, but you'll have oversight of it and your work will directly impact it: coaching numbers, court bookings, memberships and events.
- Be the face of the venue - build genuine relationships with members, parents, schools, the local community and the LTA.

Essential:
- LTA coaching qualification (Level 2 or above) with LTA Coach Accreditation

- Experience delivering a coaching programme across juniors and adults

- First aid and safeguarding trained
- Excellent people skills: able to build genuine relationships with members, parents and partners
- Organised, hands-on and calm under pressure - happy switching between the court and the office
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends in line with the centre's opening hours
Desirable:
- LTA Level 4 (Coach) or Level 5 (Master Coach) qualification
- Experience leading or managing a venue, programme or team of coaches
