This course empowers you to confidently coach players with impairments by adopting a player-centred approach and focusing on individual needs to unlock player potential. Drawing from the LTA Tactical and Technical Development Frameworks, you'll learn to adapt tactics, techniques, feeding, and demonstrations to make padel accessible for all.
By the end of the course, you will;
- Understand and apply the key models of inclusion, including STEP principles and AIM.
- Learn how an individual’s impairment might affect the Person-Centred Approach.
- Gain practical coaching experience exploring the technical framework, feeding and demonstrations.
- Explore the coaching process for players with various impairments via real examples.
'Coaching Inclusive Padel’ was created by inclusive coaching experts Jo Cunliffe, LTA Tutor and Padel Instructor, and Sue Morrison, Director at LUSU Sports (experts in inclusive sport and activity) with over 40 years’ experience in the inclusive coaching space.
This course is designed for coaches who want to gain confidence in delivering inclusive padel sessions and see greater improvement in players with an impairment, regardless of qualification level or previous inclusive coaching experience.
