Discovering and Driving Detail is aimed at all levels of coaches who want to enhance their coaching and develop the observation and analysis skills that will allow you to give players crucial technical/tactical interventions.
This workshop specifically focuses on developing a ‘golden eye of observation’ on which to build analysis and coaching interventions, ultimately helping you to help your players get better, faster.
On this 4-hour course, you will:
- Understand how observation and analysis skills form the cornerstone of successful group coaching
- Learn to implement successful coaching interventions that will improve your players’ performances
- Explore the core structure of a lesson plan and the LTA Technical/Tactical Development Frameworks
- Learn to deliver effective demonstrations
- Understand and apply SMART coaching practice
- Explore the concepts behind stress-testing and giving your players exactly what they need

Our organisation offers LTA qualifications at Assistant (Level1), Instructor (Level 2) and Coach (Level 3). We also offer CPD courses for coaches.
