In this course you will refresh your learning on:
- The different types of abuse
- What you should do if you see or suspect that a person is being, or likely to be, abused
- How to safeguard yourself
- Where to go for help and advice
The course consists of a course presentation, audio and a quiz. It has been approved by the LTA for 2 CPD credits upon successful completion.

Please note that you must have previously completed a face to face (or virtual classroom) LTA 'Safeguarding & Protection in Tennis' workshop (or one approved by the LTA) within the last three years to book onto this course. Please remember that you will have six months to complete this course. Upon successful completion, it may take up to 24 hours for your CPD credits to be allocated.
If you have gained more than 8 CPD credits from online learning, you must complete the Independent Learning form which can be found here. The coaching team will therefore assess and add any extra online credits.
The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) in collaboration with Core Learning Services provides online educational courses for coaches, officials and other tennis stakeholders. Content is hosted by Core Learning Services but developed, delivered and authored by the LTA.
The LTA is the national governing body for tennis in Great Britain. Our mission is to get more people play tennis more often. The LTA focuses on a number of key areas of work which include coach development, competition and major events, high performance support, officiating and participation support among others.
The LTA run a number of coach education events including their flagship CPD event the National Coaches Conference, in addition to forums, safeguarding courses and online courses. The LTA also run courses for officials.
