LTA Youth: Coach Foundation Training is open to all qualified tennis coaches, and you must complete both the face-to-face and online supplementary unit to be fully qualified to deliver LTA Youth.
In order to fully complete your training please book onto the 4-hour face to face LTA Youth: Coach Foundation Training - these courses are run by our Coach Development Centres.
The programme has been created using a set of principles and competencies (player outcomes) that include tactical, technical, motor and psycho-social skills. The training will equip coaches to deliver a fun, safe, inclusive and competitive junior programme.
On completing this supplementary online training coaches will be able to:
- Describe the rationale and objectives of LTA Youth
- Articulate the qualities and framework of the new content
- Understand the support available to effectively manage and deliver LTA Youth
The online training is a pre-requisite of attending the practical training and coaches will need to complete both to receive full CPD credits and be qualified to deliver LTA Youth.
Complete your online training now and spread the word among your coaching team.
