Tennis For Kids is now called LTA Youth Start
LTA Youth Start is a 6 week introductory course for children aged 4-11 years who are new to tennis. This LTA Youth Start coach training course will provide you with all the information you need to deliver LTA Youth Start courses.
- This course is open to all coaches but you must have a Level 2 qualification and to be LTA Accredited in order to upload and deliver LTA Youth Start courses on Clubspark.
- If you attended a TFK coach training day in 2018 or have previously completed TFK online training you DO NOT need to complete this course but can do so if you would like to refresh your understanding.
- This course will take approximately 2 hours to complete and includes a series of videos and knowledge checks throughout.
- You can complete the course in multiple sittings. Simply ensure you close the course properly (close the course not the browser window) to save progress automatically.
- Coaches receive 2 CPD credits upon completion of the course. It may take up to 24 hours for your CPD credits to be allocated.
- After completion you will be able to upload TFK courses to Clubspark.

The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) in collaboration with Core Learning Services provides online educational courses for coaches, officials and other tennis stakeholders. Content is hosted by Core Learning Services but developed, delivered and authored by the LTA.
The LTA is the national governing body for tennis in Great Britain. Our mission is to get more people play tennis more often.
