The Aegon Awards recognise individuals in British tennis that have reached outstanding achievements on the court or contributing to the development of players. Awarded monthly, there are two awards; Player of the Month and Junior Player of the Month

Aegon Player of the Month: Aljaz Bedene

Aljaz Bedene secured back-to-back ATP Tour Challenger wins with victory at the Verrazzano Open in France. Aljaz did not drop a set during his win in France and his great form continued with a run to the final of the Hungarian Open three weeks later.

Aegon Junior Player of the Month: Alex Chaston

14 year old Alex Chaston has only been playing tennis for two years but helped the Great Britain junior team finish 7th at the BNP Paribas World Team Cup in Italy. Ahead of the competition, Alex represented the team and was interviewed by both BBC Radio 5 Live and Newsround.
