The Aegon Awards recognise individuals in British tennis that have reached outstanding achievements on the court or contributing to the development of players. Awarded monthly, there are two awards; Player of the Month and Junior Player of the Month

Aegon Player of the Month: Alfie Hewett

Alfie Hewett made sporting history in June by becoming the first British man to win the men’s singles wheelchair tennis title at Roland Garros. His win moved him up to world number 6 to equal his career high ranking. Continuing his success at Roland Garros, Alfie also partnered Gordon Reid in the doubles event to finish as runners-up. 

Jack Pinnington Jones captures the U14 title at a Tennis Europe Category 1 event in Italy

Aegon Junior Player of the Month: Jack Pinnington Jones

Jack was the winner of a Tennis Europe category 1 event in both singles and doubles, in Messina, Italy and has climbed the rankings where he is now number 6 for U14 in Europe. The up and coming star has also achieved a stunning 31:5 win loss ratio for 2017 so far in Tennis Europe events.
