Aegon Players of the Month

The Aegon Player of the Month Awards recognise individuals in British tennis that have produced outstanding achievements on the court. Awarded monthly, there are two awards; Player of the Month and Junior Player of the Month

Aegon Player of the Month: Kyle Edmund

22 year old Kyle Edmund performed outstandingly last month with fantastic results from across the pond in the USA. His success began with making the semi-finals at the Winston-Salem Open, followed by reaching the third round at the US Open.

Aegon Junior Player of the Month: Fran Smith

18 year old Fran Smith claimed the singles title in the junior event at this year’s 2017 British Open. Following on from this, Smith yet again took the headlines at this year’s School Games wheelchair tennis tournament with a double gold for Wales in singles and doubles.
