Great Britain's inspiring run to the semi-finals of the first ever Davis Cup Finals means they have secured their place in 2020. 

18 nations turned up to battle at Madrid's Caja Magica for the World Cup of tennis and were split into six groups for the initial stage of the tournament. 

Leon Smith's squad of Dan Evans, Kyle Edmund, Andy Murray, Jamie Murray and Neal Skupski were placed in Group E, and reached the quarters where they ousted Germany. The Brits bowed out to host nation and eventual champions Spain in the semi-finals, but will return in 2020 for another shot at lifting the trophy...
