The Nature Valley Open is ready for a week of world class action, with some of the biggest names in tennis in contention for the grass court crowns. The main draw of the combined WTA International and ATP Challenger tournament starts from Monday 10, running through to Sunday 16 June.

Britain's Heather Watson will be a star attraction in the WTA draw after she accepted a wild card into the event, while her compatriot and Surbiton Trophy champion Dan Evans will also return to Nottingham Tennis Centre.

Who are the women?

Heather Watson will be back at Nottingham for a third successive year, as she looks to bolster her ranking in her bid to secure direct entry into the main draw at Wimbledon.

Watson will be joined in Nottingham by her Fed Cup teammates Harriet Dart and Katie Swan, whilst fellow Brits Naiktha Bains and Maia Lumsden have also been handed wild cards for the main draw.

The women's draw will be headlined by international stars, with top seed and world No.22 Caroline Garcia, world No.24 and 2017 champion Donna Vekic, and world No.30 Maria Sakkari all in the mix.

Who are the men?

Britain's Dan Evans has pieced together an impressive 2019 season so far, with his rapid rise up the ATP rankings seeing him leap more than 1000 places in the last 12 months.

That sparkling return to form was kick-started by his run to the final of the Nature Valley Open last year, with Birmingham-born Evans relishing a chance to play in front of local fans.

"I'm looking forward to coming back to Nottingham again this year. I have great memories of my run to the final of the Nature Valley Open last year where the crowd was so welcoming to all the players," said Evans. "Being from the Midlands, this is as close to home as I can get, and I hope I can get some good matches in during the week."

Evans will be joined by fellow British players Jay Clarke, Liam Broady and James Ward, with the latter keen to protect some valuable ATP ranking points after his run to the quarter-finals in Nottingham last year. Main draw wild cards have recently been awarded to young stars Jack Draper, Evan Hoyt and Paul Jubb who are all looking to get as much court time ahead of Wimbledon.

Nottingham can also look forward to seeing Australia's Bernard Tomic in action, with former Wimbledon semi-finalist Marcos Baghdatis another notable name in the draw.
