British wild card Arthur Fery is set to take on ninth seed and Roland Garros runner-up Flavio Cobolli in the Wimbledon quarter-final.
The 23-year-old from Wimbledon is set to play the biggest match of his career as he bids to become only the fifth British man to reach the semi-finals at The Championships (Roger Taylor, Tim Henman, Andy Murray and Cam Norrie)
After back-to-back five-set wins in the previous rounds, Fery is full of confidence and will no doubt have the complete backing of the British crowd when he takes on the in-form Italian.

When is Arthur Fery vs Flavio Cobolli at Wimbledon?
Fery will play Cobolli in the Wimbledon quarter-final on Wednesday 8 July.
The British star has been scheduled as the second match on Centre Court, following Marta Kostyuk vs Jasmine Paolini.
Play on Centre Court starts from 13:30.

Fery and Cobolli have played only once before, with the Brit winning in straight sets in the first round of the 2026 Australian Open.
The Brit had come through qualifying at a Grand Slam for the first time in his career and then backed it up by equalling his best win by ranking – knocking out the then world No.20 7-6(1), 6-4, 6-1.

Fery got his first win at Wimbledon in 2025, knocking out 20th seed Alexei Popyrin in the opening round before losing to Luciano Darderi.
Cobolli’s best result at Wimbledon also came last year, reaching the quarter-finals. The Italian picked up some big wins over Jakub Mensik and Marin Cilic, but bowed out to Djokovic in four sets.
