Roland Garros 2027 match times
Roland Garros runs two daily sessions on the three main show courts – Philippe-Chatrier, Suzanne-Lenglen and Simonne-Mathieu:
- Day session: play begins at 11:00 Paris time (10:00 UK time), with up to three matches scheduled across the day
- Night session: one match on Court Philippe-Chatrier, not before 20:15 Paris time (19:15 UK time)
Outside courts typically open earlier, from around 10:00 Paris time (9:00 UK time), during qualifying and the first week of the main draw. Both Philippe-Chatrier and Suzanne-Lenglen have retractable roofs, so play on those two courts can continue if it rains.

Roland Garros schedule FAQs
The schedule (above) sets out which round is played on each day across the tournament.
The order of play is different: it’s the specific list of matches, courts, and running order for a single day, and it’s only published the evening before – usually via the official Roland Garros app and website.
Check the schedule to plan your week, and the order of play for exact match-by-match details closer to the day.
The singles main draw is traditionally made on the Thursday before the tournament’s opening Sunday, at 14:00 Paris time (13:00 UK time).
Based on that pattern, the 2027 draw would fall on Thursday 20 May 2027, though this is not yet officially confirmed
It can, but less than in previous years. Court Philippe-Chatrier and Court Suzanne-Lenglen both have retractable roofs, so matches on those two courts can continue or resume quickly in wet weather.
Matches on the outside courts are more likely to be affected, which can push some rounds back by a day.
